Downtown, sounds kind of edgy and cool but not really a word thats used in Valencia about neighbourhoods, zones or barrios, i actually checked for a definition and the dictionary says thus . . “The main business district or central part of a city or town.” A downtown, comprised of things such as great dining, shopping, arts, culture, and recreation attract local residents as well as visitors which creates a thriving and exciting community, . . Good to know and a good way to describe this central but extremely quiet back street in the city, check the map for an exact location, in a kilometre radius you have the very best that Valencia has to offer in the way of shops, restaurants, tourist attractions, the Turia Gardens, Mercado Central, Mercat Colon, the Golden Mile, the Cathedral, the pretty plazas of Patriarca, Ayuntamiento, Reina y Virgen, the Pla de Remei, Corte Ingles, metro stations, the list goes on and on and on and on and on, a bit like me now.. . The apartment itself has plenty of light and exterior windows to the quiet pedestrian street below and its square,(not long and thin like most flats) and its on the third and top floor with the unused roof terrace above at your mercy and disposal.. . A garage space is available if required and some renovation is needed, but you already knew that so I’ll leave you with these wise words.. . . “And you may find somebody kind to help and understand you, someone who is just like you and needs a gentle hand to, guide them along. .
