A villa outside Gandia, 20 minutes from your choice of beaches with fantastic views and a beautiful garden. And by garden, I mean a lawn. Somewhere you can knock a ball around. Big shortage of that in Spanish gardens. ‘Go out and play in the garden’ doesn’t work if you’re going to be smashing into orange trees and tripping over irrigation tubes.. . But this place has a lawn, and a pool, so plenty to keep the kids occupied. The house itself is divided into 2 independent living areas, one on each floor. That might suit some people (two words, ‘in’ and ‘laws’), or you might prefer to unify them, its easily done.. . It is a property that would be a fantastic family holiday home, in the countryside at the edge of the mountains, but still only a short trip down to the beach. There are one or 2 neighbours, but this really is a great country house. The price is really good for what you get, just need a couple of goalposts – where’s me jumper?. . (By the way, there’s also an extra little bit of land and outhouses going with this property for a modest increase in price. It might suit someone who was interested in having horses, or perhaps some type of agritourism.)
