Those of you who have been paying attention will know that we here at VP are fans of La Pobla de Vallbona. Why? Well, it’s a 20-minute drive to Valencia city, also on the metro line and the price per square meter is a lot cheaper than its neighbouring town of La Eliana. Basically, your money goes further here. The town itself is a decent size and has everything you need at hand. But don’t take my word for it, our own head honcho Graham has been living out this way for years and will happily extol the virtues of L.I.L.P. (Livin’ in la Pobla).. . “La Pobla is a town with no pretensions, a working town where people get on with their lives without showing off. It has everything you could want in a medium-sized town from a superb sports centre to plenty of supermarkets and local shops, cafes and even excellent quality restaurants. A small town and community feel just 15-20 minutes from Valencia” G.H.. . As to the property itself, 260K gets you close to 2000m2 of land, including an immaculately maintained garden, an allotment with various fruit trees, a tennis court and a swimming pool. The house is a sizeable 308m2 bungalow with 4 bedrooms. There is a garage with space for 2 cars but could just as easily be used as a workshop, man/woman cave, studio or whatever you like. And of course, you have the ubiquitous paellero or outdoor kitchen. . . Go a kilometre or two down the road and you can add another 100k onto this price tag if not more. Great place, great views, great price and unlikely to be on the market for long.
